Many seasons have come and gone since I opened in 1998 on the Issaquah Plateau in WA., and thanks to you Plateau Florist has grown and blossomed. By creating this web site it has reminded me of a dream that started over a decade ago with all your encouragement and support……..
The dream of having my own floral business started in my youth. I was attracted to flowers at an early age from picking wild flowers to making; corsages, boutonnieres, and floral arrangements for friends and family. I believe I gained my love and respect for the floral business, through my family’s background of growers and artists.
More education came from traveling the world extensively aboard cruise ships and living in Athens, Greece. Any chance I had to adventure out brought me more opportunity! Returning home I went back to school for floral design and business. At last Plateau Florist came along!
In 2006 we moved from the Plateau to a new location in Bellevue, WA., in a more private setting. We have created a meet and greet area, design area, a walk in cooler and a gorgeous show room! We continue to serve all our clients with every day flowers and more quality time for our Brides.
Our mission is very simple, ‘To make one’s life more beautiful, through one bloom at a time’
